Cambridge.Marketing is a marketing and business consulting service for trades, home-service and local businesses in Cambridge, Ontario. We help those businesses get found, get called and get paid for the right jobs. We are not a contractor: we never install, repair or service anything, and we don't sell leads to other companies.

The company behind the name

Cambridge.Marketing is one brand within the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. The group is Canadian, keeps its headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, and works with clients from coast to coast.

  • Sedighi.ca is Ali's own consulting company for growth, marketing and technology work, and the umbrella over several brands; Trades.Agency, the family this site belongs to, is one, alongside HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca.
  • SAZ.ca, short for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, is a Canadian firm advising on strategy, AI and faster revenue growth. Ali founded it and serves as its Founder & Managing Partner.

Within the group, this site sits in the Trades.Agency family, which works with trades and home-service businesses. Cambridge.Marketing applies that work to one city, with attention to how Cambridge's three towns and its industrial north actually behave as markets.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali Sedighi leads Cambridge.Marketing. His MBA is in Technology Management, and his marketing career runs back more than 17 years, to 2007, the year he set up ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency.

Since then he has:

  • founded Conv.ca, a conversion-rate optimisation agency, and MyAutomation.ca;
  • founded SAZ.ca, where he is Founder & Managing Partner;
  • built 150+ live HVAC websites, including CombiBoiler.ca, HeatLand and BCWide.ca;
  • worked with clients in Canada, the USA and Dubai.

He lives and works in Vancouver. You can read more on his profile at Sedighi.ca.

What that background means for a Cambridge owner is practical rather than impressive-sounding. Ali has spent years watching which trades websites get calls and which just sit there, and that pattern recognition is what you're paying for on the first call: a quick, honest read of where your marketing is leaking and what to fix first.

Why a Cambridge site, run from Vancouver

Because the work is done where your customers look, not where our desks are. Search results, ad accounts, review platforms and your website are the same wherever we sit, and we check every recommendation against what a searcher in Galt, Preston or Hespeler actually sees.

We're also honest about the limits. We don't pretend to know every street, and we won't invent local facts. The local knowledge on this site comes from the City of Cambridge's own open data and Statistics Canada, and the rest comes from you: where your best jobs are, which areas you avoid, and what your customers ask before they hire you.

How we work

We work in a simple, written, month-to-month way.

  1. We start with your numbers. Average job value, close rate, spare capacity and where your best customers live. Without those, any marketing plan is guesswork.
  2. We write the plan down. One page: what we'll do, in what order, what it costs, and the most you should pay per lead.
  3. You own everything. Your website, domain, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and tracking are in your name. If you leave, they stay with you.
  4. We report in plain language. Calls, texts, emails, cost per lead and, where you share it, cost per job won.
  5. We tell you when to stop. If a channel isn't paying for itself after a fair test, we'll recommend cutting it.

There's no long-term contract. Plans run month to month with 30 days' notice, and the details are on our pricing page.

What we won't do

Some things are off the table, whatever the budget:

  • promise rankings, lead numbers or results;
  • write fake reviews or invent customer stories;
  • build dozens of thin neighbourhood pages to game search;
  • give engineering, legal, accounting or code-compliance advice;
  • claim the results of our HVAC work as results in other trades.

Where to go next

See what we offer, read results from our HVAC work, or browse the guides for practical advice you can use whether or not you hire us. When you're ready, call, text or email, and you'll talk to a senior strategist.

No. We are a service business run from Vancouver and we meet Cambridge clients by video call or in person, as well as by phone, text and email. We don't claim a local address we don't have.

Are you a contractor?

No. We don't install, repair or service anything. We plan and run marketing and give business advice to the companies that do the work.
